Celtic u8's  7 vs 5 Bransty
Celtic U8's made a great start against Bransty Rangers and with early goals coming from Dane Richardson and Reece Bewley (2) it looked like it would be an easy game.  But (there's always a but or 2) Bransty put in some good hard work and showed good skills to come back with 2 goals.  Half-time score line 3-2 to the hoops.
Second half started well another goal from Reece Bewley gave Celtic the freedom to play some good attacking football.  Two goals came form Joe "The" Power and one from hard working Robbie Bagley which basically put an end to things except Bransty got a penalty - it's kids football, a penalty! what's going on guys?
FINAL SCORE 7-5 TO THE BHOYS
M.O.M Reece Bewley (Celtic)
M.O.M Sheldon Mossop (Bransty) - I thought that wasn't a Moor name.

Calder  0 vs 3 Celtic u8's

Celtic U8's played a weakened Calder Lions side and made it count. A sweet little strike from Lewis Hamilton to make it 0-1 and settled the nerves. After a disappointing defeat mid-week to Whitehaven Amateures in the league cup 1st round the bhoys were on a march. In the second half the hoops took control and a good passing move gave M.O.M Dane Richardson his first goal of the season. This was quickly followed by a long range strike from Joe Power to seal the game.

Celtic u8's  1 vs 0 Workington

Celtic U8's first game of the season started well with some good chances from Dane Richardson, which took some fine saves from the Workington keeper to keep it at 0-0 at the break. The secondhalf started much the same with no joy. The Celtic defence was solid with a string of tackles from Gregory Baxter. It took a great finish from Celtic's substitute Brogan Birkett to seal the game 1-0.
